My name is Mascha Davis, Registered Dietitian and author of Eat Your Vitamins, and I’m beyond thrilled to partner with TC1 to help you learn how to use nutrition to achieve your health and fitness goals.
As someone who loves working out, I’ve seen the power that proper nutrition has to optimize my own workouts while supporting health and energy. With the science based knowledge of what our bodies need to not just survive, but thrive, I’m excited to help guide you on your journey to vitality through nourishment and nutrition.
As I began the process of becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), I started on a path of discovery of what it means to be truly healthy and to help others. After completing my undergraduate studies in Nutritional Science & Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I went on to obtain my Master of Public Health Degree at UCLA and to complete my accredited dietetic internship at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles. Since then, my career has taken me to places all around the world – Europe, the US, and Africa.
After more than 10 years of practicing nutritional science and public health while living and working around the globe, I discovered what works, what doesn’t, and what it means to live a truly healthy life. I understand that a healthy diet can not only prevent disease, but can be the catalyst that helps us to thrive and reach our potential in life.
Now in my private practice, I use an evidence-based approach and Nutrigenomics to help my clients optimize their health, manage chronic conditions and achieve a healthy weight. I also love working with the media to share credible nutrition info with the public. My writing and expertise have been featured in numerous publications and media outlets including TIME, CNN,
Newsweek, the Washington Post, ABC news, Men’s Health Magazine, Women’s Health, Mind Body Green, Bustle, Refinery29, PopSugar Fitness, Reader’s Digest, and many more. When I’m not running my nutrition practice Nomadista Nutrition, I enjoy spending my time hiking around LA and trying new cuisines that the city has to offer.
Over the next few months, TC1 and I will bring
you nutrition tips and guides to buying the right foods, and I’ll teach you what it means to eat in a way that is sustainable with food you actually love. You’ll learn how to fuel before and after your workout so you can reach new fitness goals without burning out.
